How to install on Android

Five calm steps. A minute or two.

Android asks a couple of questions when you install an app directly like this, rather than from the Play Store. That is normal for a test build, and we walk you through each one below. Your phone stays in your control the whole way.

  1. Download the app

    Tap Download for Android above, or scan the QR code. The file lenka.apk saves to your phone.

  2. Open the file

    Open your Downloads and tap lenka.apk, or tap the download notification when it appears.

  3. Allow install from this source

    Android may say this source is not yet allowed. Tap Settings, turn on Allow from this source, then go back. This is normal for a directly shared build - you are simply telling your phone you trust this download.

  4. Install

    Tap Install and wait a few seconds while it finishes.

  5. Open Lenka

    Tap Open, and you are in. Sign in and send a test transfer whenever you are ready.

Why am I installing it this way?

Because you are one of the first.

This is an early test build, shared directly with our founding community while we finish preparing Lenka for everyone. Downloading it straight from us - rather than the Play Store - is exactly why Android double-checks with you, and it is completely normal for a build at this stage.

The public Play Store listing comes later. For now, you are helping us test the real thing, and your feedback shapes what we build next. Thank you for being here early.
